I guess this leaves me dateless for the masquerade.
In other news, I find being stuck inside during winter to be completely justified. Honestly, I figure the majority of the student body would lock themselves in their dorms and common rooms even if the rules allowed us out onto the grounds. Now if we're allowed to romp in the freezing snow it would be a bit of a let down since everyone would jump right back into complaining.
Strange. I am complaining about complaining.
Alright, I'll right my wrongs. Shall we celebrate the idea that we have a warm castle and plenty to eat? As well as cozy beds and elves - and Molly - to tend to the few lazies (myself included) who desire hot chocolate? Holly jolly and all of that.

I am quite intrigued by the cold and careless hearts that have been creating havoc in their unrest. Acting as though these demonstrations of blood lust are fueled from the tick in their uneasy minds - the very same that feeds their prejudice. As though the rest of us will rise up and take their sides. Gather your wits, friends. Seventy-one people. If that number does not mean anything to you then count yourself among the heartless wenches that caused this chaos.
It is time to rise up and take our power back because these villains' time is coming to an end. We have to unify.

Oi! My mouth has off and done it again! I told James about seeing Lily and Eli kissing, about how it's really nice of him to let Lily date who she pleases. How it's sweet of him to not be suffocating her with questions and resentment, and letting her be happy if that was who she was choosing. Little did I know that James didn't know about Lils and Eli! In fact, he and Lily had been snogging not a few days prior. Now I feel right terrible!
And, what's worse, I recall Lily telling me about the whole thing, but with everyone sick after the party I completely forgot! Now I've gone and started some fisticuffs outside the Hufflepuff common room leaving James with a sorry face, and possible expulsion.
I do wish I had my head screwed on right, but this month has left me in a whirl of this and that.
